Trial class
Get to know us.
In a trial class, you're right in the middle of it for 90 minutes: warm-up, technique and, at the end, a drill under pressure. We train to a fixed curriculum – from spotting danger to fighting back – and you simply join wherever we are. You'll work up a sweat, meet the group and find out what you're capable of.
One or two trial classes are usually enough to know if it's right for you. Not sure yet? Come a third time. All free, no commitment.
You can join from age 16; under 18, you need your parents' consent. You decide how far you go.
Training is in German. Our instructors are happy to help in English.

FAQ
How long am I committed – and how do I get out?
You choose 6, 12 or 18 months. Before that, you try it out for free and with no commitment to see if it fits. You can cancel online: → Cancel.
Do I need experience or to be fit?
No. Fitness isn't your ticket in – it comes with training. You start where you are: everyone trains at their own level within the group. It's about making the most of what you bring.
Am I too old? How old do I have to be?
No. People from 16 to 74 train with us. What counts isn't your age but what you make of what you bring. You can join from age 16. For girls from 12 to about 16, we're starting a class of their own → Girls' class from 12 (in German). Under 18, you need your parents' consent: choose "I am 16 or 17" on the form, and the consent form comes with your confirmation.
Is this a combat sport – or self-defense?
Krav Maga is not a combat sport. Combat sports have rules, weight classes and a winner. Self-defense has a different goal: getting you out safely. On the street, there are no rules and no referee – so we train for real situations: spotting danger early, de-escalating and, if it has to be, defending yourself physically – with confidence and determination. No competitions, no trophies.
Is the training brutal? Can I get hurt?
No, it isn't brutal – but it is real. It's demanding, sometimes uncomfortable – but never overwhelming. We practice with body contact, in a controlled way and with care for your partner. Anyone who is reckless in training has no place here. To be honest: even with careful instruction, bruises can happen. You are not covered by accident insurance through us; we recommend private accident and liability insurance.
Can I handle it? Krav Maga seems so elite.
We hear that a lot – and we get it. You don't have to prove anything or bring anything except the wish to try it. People from very different jobs and backgrounds train with us. If you're more on the quiet side, you're in the right place too: setting boundaries with your voice is something we practice from the start, at your pace.
What does it cost?
Experience it first, then do the math. Membership starts at €59 a month, depending on the term. On top of that, there's a one-time €30 registration fee and a €55 annual association fee. All terms and prices are in the info packet. Before that, you try it out for free to see if it's right for you.
